I think that the best way to get to know someone is learning about what is most important to them, how they fill their time, and who they surround themselves with. So, I want to introduce you to my family.
I am very thankful to have grown up in a loving home, where I felt comfortable to be myself but was also pushed to be my best and set a good example for my 4 younger siblings.
First, I will introduce my dad, Jason. My dad has been an inspiring figure for as long as I can remember. He is a hard worker and always follows through on his word. He has a creative, entrepreneurial spirit and is building an amazing business, The Design Network.
Next is my mom. Mother of five children, she is the strongest, most caring person I know. She spends hours in the car driving all of us to and from school, dance, and friends’ houses. She is strong in her faith, and has a way of making time to make you feel special, even when she has a million other things going on.
My first sister is Lindsay. Lindsay and I have always been close (she was practically my shadow when we were little), but our relationship has really transformed since we have been at UNC-Chapel Hill together, both on the Carolina Girls Dance Team. Lindsay has a great since of humor and is always creating something amazing, whether it is a new recipe or her own clothing line. And no, we are not twins.
Next is Sarah Parker. SP is spunky, intelligent, and creative. She has a servant’s heart and is always looking out for the lonely person. Her laughter is contagious, and there is nothing she cannot accomplish when she puts her mind to it. She is an amazing dancer, artist, and friend.
Next is Jace, the only boy. Jace is the most well-rounded athlete I have ever seen. He excels in every sport he plays, and he still has a soft spot for his sisters. Jace has grown a foot in the past year and now stands as the tallest sibling (whether I like to admit it or not).
Sophie rounds out the 5 Harris siblings. Our lives would not be the same without her. She is the smartest kid EVER because she spends so much time with her older siblings. She has a highly advanced vocabulary, a vlogging YouTube channel, and an amazing gift of dancing. She’s also my mini me; our baby pictures are barely distinguishable.
My list wouldn’t be complete without our dog, Cooper. He is the most awkward dog, hates baths, but loves his family. We’re pretty much obsessed with him.
This is our crew and a big part of what makes me me.
